3 Fonteinen x De Cam Geuze – release event

𝗡𝗟 Eind jaren ’90 kruisten de paden van Armand van Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen en Karel van Geuzestekerij De Cam elkaar dankzij hun liefde voor de schoonste der bierstijlen. Schouder aan schouder wordt die passie sindsdien verdergezet.

Op 16 december 2018, dag op dag twintig jaar na het allereerste 3 Fonteinen-lambikbrouwsel ooit, brouwden Armand en Karel nog eens sinds lang samen. De lambikken van die dag en van de gezamenlijke brouwmomenten de jaren erna, werden verdeeld over de vaten in Lot en Gooik. Uit die gezamenlijke brouwsels uit beide vatenzalen selecteerden Karel Goddeau en Michaël Blancquaert vier jaar later tien fijne lambikken en bottelden ne schone geuze – enkel op fles – op 26 oktober 2022, Armands geboortedag.

Deze fles viert de lange vriendschap, de schone momenten en herinneringen, het prachtige ambacht, het wederzijds respect en de standvastige waarden die Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen en Geuzestekerij De Cam delen. Centraal op het label staat het woord “Geuze” – ooit zo geschreven door Armand – als verbindende factor.

Op zaterdag 28 oktober en zondag 29 oktober wordt deze fles voor het eerst geschonken in respectievelijk de lambik-O-droom in Lot (zaterdag van 12u00u tot 20u00u) en bij De Cam in Gooik (zondag vanaf 12u00).

Bovendien zal er op zaterdag in de lambik-O-droom uitzonderlijk, en enkel op die dag, ook een geuze op de kaart staan die 25 jaar geleden gebotteld werd. En de ‘Comme Chez Nous’-foodtruck zal ook op onzen hof staan!

𝗘𝗡 At the end of the 1990s, the paths of Armand of Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen and Karel of Geuzestekerij De Cam crossed each other thanks to their love for the finest of beer styles. Since then, that passion has been continued shoulder to shoulder.

On December 16, 2018, twenty years to the day after the very first 3 Fonteinen lambik brew ever, Armand and Karel brewed together again for a long time. The lambics from that day and from the joint brewing moments in the following years were divided over the barrels in Lot and Gooik. Four years later, Karel Goddeau and Michaël Blancquaert selected ten fine lambics from the joint brews from both barrel rooms and bottled a quintessential gueuze – only bottled! – on October 26, 2022, Armand’s birth date.

This bottle celebrates the long friendship, the beautiful moments and memories, the wonderful craft, the mutual respect and the steadfast values that Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen and Geuzestekerij De Cam share. Central on the label is the word “Geuze” – once written by Armand – as a connecting factor.

On Saturday, October 28 and Sunday, October 29, this bottle will be served for the first time in the lambik-O-droom in Lot (Saturday from 12 noon to 8 pm) and at De Cam in Gooik (Sunday from 12.00pm) respectively.

Moreover, on Saturday in the lambik-O-droom, exceptionally, and only on that day, there will also be a gueuze on the menu that was bottled 25 years ago. And the ‘Comme Chez Nous’-foodtruck will also join us!
