Festivités dans le cadre de la soirée remerciements du festival “BALKAN TRAFIK”!!!

DJ Gaetano Fabri, passionné de jazz, musicien et percussionniste bruxellois, popularise la musique tsigane à travers les scènes d’Europe en fusionnant la culture clubbing avec la musique traditionnelle. Depuis la fin du millénaire, il consacre son travail à la musique du monde, tombant amoureux de la culture tsigane, des fanfares des Balkans, de la musique klezmer et russe. Ses remixes, comme celui des Koçani Orkestar pour Electric Gypsyland (Crammed Discs), ont marqué les esprits, et il n’a cessé depuis de créer et de remixer, lançant même son propre label, Blue Gypsy.

Gaetano est également l’un des trois artistes européens à avoir lancé le style “balkan beat”, et il est devenu au fil des ans le DJ résident de Balkan Trafik. Présent depuis 18 ans au festival, seul ou accompagné d’autres DJs, il continue à faire vibrer les foules avec ses sets enflammés. Préparez-vous à danser sur les tables lors de la prochaine soirée Balkan Beat qu’il animera à la brasserie de la senne à l’invitation du festival.

Festiviteiten als onderdeel van de avond dankzij het festival “BALKAN TRAFIK”!

DJ Gaetano Fabri, een jazzliefhebber, muzikant en percussionist uit Brussel, maakt zigeunermuziek populair in de stadia van Europa door de clubcultuur te combineren met traditionele muziek. Sinds het einde van het millennium heeft hij zijn werk gewijd aan wereldmuziek, verliefd op de zigeunercultuur, Balkanbands, klezmer en Russische muziek. Zijn remixen, zoals die van Koçani Orkestar voor Electric Gypsyland (Crammed Discs), hebben grote indruk op mensen gemaakt en sindsdien is hij nooit meer gestopt met creëren en remixen, lanceert zelfs zijn eigen label, Blue Gypsy.

Gaetano is ook een van de drie Europese artiesten die de “balkan beat” -stijl hebben gelanceerd, en hij is in de loop der jaren de resident DJ geworden voor Balkan Trafik. Hij is 18 jaar aanwezig op het festival, alleen of vergezeld van andere DJ’s, en blijft de drukte laten trillen met zijn vurige sets. DJ Gaetano Fabri, a jazz enthusiast, musician and percussionist from Brussels, popularizes gypsy music through the stages of Europe by merging clubbing culture with traditional music.
