In Brussels, Nanobrasserie de l’Ermitage is hosting a sour party and D-J set with lots of new beers and a guest. Brasserie de la Senne is hosting a beer and chocolate tasting featuring Laurent Gerbaut et Frédéric Blondeel. La Source is doing a live canning session. Beergium is featuring a Funky Fluid can release. Brussels Beer Project is getting funky with 8 BBP mixed-fermentation beers on tap at its Dansaert location. La Marlouf, which bills itself as the ‘first Triple Moroccan Beer’ has an event on today at L’amour à Boire. Sing and play along with Family Brews (Brussels) as they have an open door for local musicians and singers during the week. Party like its 2021! Otomat is offering a special pizza & beer sharing menu for two. You can taste 3 pizzas paired with three Belgian beers. The Belgian Beers Race team launched the retail release of the game at Dynamo and Le Bar à Jeux yesterday and what a party it was! They continue today with a presentation by Fox & Cie at City 2 by its creator Cowmic Boutriaux and top illustrator Ammo Dastarac.
In Antwerp, Ben at Beerlovers Bar is hosting an Alvinne tap takeover. Say no more for a match made in heaven. Spéciale Belge Taproom is holding a tap takeover featuring Tall Poppy Brewing Company, Vleesmeester Brewery, Galea Craftbeers, Malcroys & FELIS. Dr. Beer is holding its blind flight game again. We had lots of fun doing it last year. Discover 20 taps and beer games at Philly’s Antwerp from 26-29 August. De Koninck Brewery is doing food and drink pairings. The pairings will run from 24-29 August. Barrel aged beers are in the spotlight at Café Pardaf from 24/08 to Sunday 29/08. Check out the tasty list! Try a cured sausage or sandwich with head cheese while shopping for old and rare beer glasses at Paters Vaetje. Check out Papa Jos, which is hosting secret draft beer tastings and price reductions during the week as is Muziek cafe Plansjee, which is pairing Orval cheese with La Chouffe, along with other promotions. Meanwhile Trappist cheese and Orval aged for 3+ years is on offer by Café Mombasa.
In Namur its a mini-festival within Belgium Beer Week! Check out Namur Capitale de la Cerveza, which features beers from 5 Spanish breweries from 27-29 August. Try the local beer l’Estamine at Café Le Chapitre, which bills itself as the “only authentic beer bar in Namur near St Aubain church”. There are 50 other beers to enjoy.
Mechelen joins in the fun today as De Floeren Aap and Beer Rebels host a tap takeover by 18TH Street Brewery.
In Ghent, Gent Glas is blowing hot glass and drinking craft beer. Very, very cool. Beer Secret is hosting a tasting tour of Ghent and promises to venture off the typical pub crawl path. Test your geekiness at Bar Beenhouwer, which is holding a beer quiz. And of coure
In Bruges Bauhaus Bruges is hosting a special night where they are giving a free glass of Bauhaus Beer to anyone who will say the secret phrase.
In Leuven our friends at Hops N More are hosting a Cycle Brewing & friends tasting night. Visit de Coureur, which is doing taproom tastings and brewery tours. Go to the Beer Corner for beer cocktails, and cheese and beer pairings all week.
In Essen, Bar-N is showing you around the beer garden with some exciting beers and games.
In Gesves, Hepta Brewery is offering a bio beer along with a tour and other promotions.
