Misery Beer Co. is crowdfunding to raise €15,000 to buy equipment for the brewery near Liège. The brewer, in existence for two years, sits in a mansion located in Harzé, in the Ardennes forest near Liège, Belgium and consists of a microbrewery, brewpub and gite. Misery founders are Rémy Perée and Samia, who have brewed in Vermont and Quebec and want to brew in Belgium using local wild yeasts, local farmers’ products or ingredients gathered in the woods.
