BXLBeerFest, which bills itself as the # Crossroads of Beers & Friends’, lived up to its promise on 28-29 Sept. But the expected attendance has fallen over the years, as it has this year, and the organisers plan for the 2024 edition to be the last one. There will be mini-festivals featuring a smaller number of brewers says Jean Hummler, co-owner of the Moeder Lambic bars in Brussels and co-organiser of BXLBeerFest, told the Beer Idiots in an interview that the plans are to severely downsize it to a few local breweries next year.
