James Ling of Young Master Brewer in Hong Kong is looking for a collab with a Belgian brewer. In an interview with the Beer Idiots he talks about how they started in 2013 with IPAs and other styles of the craft explosion.
In 2016 they moved to a bigger brewery and took the opportunity to order a foeder cask from Belgium, claiming to be the first in Asia to do so. Welcome to the wild ales! Along the way he describes how the shop pairs Asian food with beer and the difficulties of finding space to brew in Hong Kong.
They operate two breweries in Hong Kong including Wong Chuk Hang Brewery, and five taprooms, one of which is in Singapore.
