Mark Tranter, founder/brewer of Burning Sky in Firle, East Sussex the UK, talks to the Beer Idiots about the changing trends in the craft sector and the business of growth and survival.
He founded Burning Sky in Sussex in 2013 after leaving Dark Star brewery, where he had been since 1996. We talked to Mark at Tilquin British Beer Festival in Bierghes, Belgium in April 2023.
The name of the brewery was inspired by a song of the same name from The Jam. Despite all the variations in taste, for Burning Sky the song remains the same – good beer.
